"Swimming pools - movie stars"

I am so tired of negative comments about my dreams!!! I have heard it from everyone! They love to tell me I'm not being practical, or there's no way I could make it, it's too hard. Or, how few people actually have any degree of success - they are all waiting tables, or they grew up and realize they have to get jobs in the real world.

I KNOW I can make it. That is all I need to know. I don't care if 98.65% of they starlets never make it (hypothetical figure) - or who had to sleep with whom. I have faith in my abilities, talent, and drive - and after that there is always my brain (which works pretty well)! So, with that all said - maybe you would like to hear my plans.

I moved to Hollywood!!! I plan to start at the beginning like every other person - and work my way up. I have no aversions to earning and learning!

I have known that I would work in the entertainment industry since I was 5 years old. I entered talent shows in grade school - dancing my little heart out to "Shake Your Bootie", then went on to high school where I participated in vocal competions (and did well ! ), more talent shows of singing, dancing, and lip-sync act. Then the acting bug bit! I had drama classes that lead to directing classes. I literally thrived in this environment. Eventually, I earned the directorial position in a touring group of The Wizard of Oz as well as the roll of Dorothy Gale. (I do not suggest you make your directing debut while you are trying to act on stage - it's tough!!!)

There is more about this stuff in my Hobbies & Intersts page. Now, I plan to storm the entertainment capitol of the world. So, hold on to your seats ... I'm coming!!!

As for long range plans: it is my goal to eventually find myself in a position similar to Barbra Streisand. I don't want to BE like anyone other than myself ... but I do want to be doing the same things she is doing. I cannot just be a singer ... or just be an actress ... or a director ... producer ... writer, etc. Why not do them all???
